The 2012 FIM World Trials Championship got underway in La Bresse, France this weekend. With both Saturday and Sunday counting as point scoring day’s, all the riders were keen to pull out an early advantage in the championship. It was a typical Welsh trial with a good mixture of hazards on the day as Dabill’s nearest challenger to the crown Michael Brown took the win by a single mark at the close of the day.

On a very challenging three lap course the Yeadon and Guiseley Club organisation was second to none with the winner on the day James Dabill making it five wins from six starts in this year’s series as he once again took the win from his nearest challenger Michael Brown.
