Dabill at Chambery Indoor Trial
12/01/2011
Only three days after competing at Sheffield Indoor Trial Britain’s number one rider James Dabill was once again onboard his Beta machine in front of a 5,000 strong crowd at the Chambery Indoor Trial, France. With countryman and hot favourite Lois Gubian not in attendance the top step of the podium was left for James Dabill and Adam Raga to fight for. Made up of five superb sections James rode well throughout the event eventually finishing in second place behind Adam Raga. Close friend and travelling partner Jack Challoner rounded out the top three onboard his Beta.
James Dabill “Being so close after Sheffield I wasn’t sure how I’d be feeling before the trial but when the time came I was fine and had a great time. Obviously it would have been nice to take my first win onboard the Beta but I’m pleased with second and I’m feeling more comfortable all the time. At one point I thought I might have taken the win but Adam was just that little bit more consistent.”
